The Irvine Institute of Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery - Orange County Hair Restoration Center is an aesthetic and cosmetic surgical office located in central Orange County with easy access for patients from nearby Los Angeles & San Diego counties, and the inland empires. Our practice is not a large clinic but small and personal. All consultations, cosmetic and surgical procedures are done on site in our Irvine office located along the Newport and Laguna Coasts.
Our staff is comprised of professionally trained and certified medical and aesthetic specialists: Doctors, Nurses and medical technicians. Dr Williams personally supervises and attends to all patient consultations and surgical procedures. Unlike other hair restoration offices that perform FUE donor harvesting by hair technicians, Dr. Williams harvests all of his patient's hair follicles. Dr. Williams is intimately involved in teaching FUE to his professional colleagues at ISHRS sanctioned workshops worldwide. Physicians recognize the expertise required by those medical doctors that teach hair surgery. That is the reason more physicians have their hair surgery performed by Dr. Williams and our offices treats more medical professionals in southern California.
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your appointment. This will give you some time to settle in and complete the necessary patients documents and forms. Patients at the Irvine Institute of Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery-Orange County Hair Restoration Center enjoy prompt appointments so consultations and procedures begin and end on time.

Be sure that a properly trained licensed
physician or properly trained
licensed allied health professional
practicing within the scope of his
or her license is responsible
for your treatment.
The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) is concerned about the
growing risk to patients of unlicensed technicians performing substantial aspects of
hair restoration surgery. The use of unlicensed technicians to perform aspects of hair
restoration surgery which should only be performed by a properly trained and licensed
physician or properly trained and licensed allied health professional (e.g., nurse, nurse
practitioner, physician assistant) practicing within the scope of his or her license,
places patients at risk of: (I) misdiagnosis; (II) failure to diagnose hair disorders and
related systemic diseases; and (III) can result in the performance of unnecessary or ill
advised surgery all of which jeopardizes patient safety and outcomes. There may also
be a risk that unlicensed technicians may not be covered by malpractice insurance.
The ISHRS believes the following aspects of hair restoration surgery should only be
performed by a licensed physician or licensed allied health professional practicing
within the scope of his or her license:
Preoperative diagnostic evaluation and consultation
Surgery execution including:
Donor hair harvesting | Hairline design | Recipient site creation
Management of other patient medical issues and possible adverse reactions
