Dr. Ken Williams, author, researcher, and principal hair restoration surgeon from the Irvine Institute of Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery – Orange County Hair Restoration Center, was interviewed and asked to comment on former ballet dancer Diva Hollands’ Traction Alopecia. Dr. Williams’ comments were sought by Self magazine in response to Ms. Hollands international headline and heart-grabbing story of hair loss from using a tight hair-style as a ballerina. Dr. Edward Ball from England is Dr. Williams’ colleague and friend. “Dr. Ball is an excellent surgeon and his surgical planning of the feminine hair line was artistic and the outcome superb. The patient’s aesthetic outcome is transformative,” adds Williams.
