Orange County Hair Surgeon Appointed to Leadership in International Surgical Society

Dr. Ken Williams of the Irvine Institute of Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery, has been appointed by International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) President, Dr. Kuniyoshi Yagyu, for the 2015-2016 term to Chair the Membership Committee and FUE Studies Committee. Dr. Williams has also been appointed by Dr. Yagyu to the By-Laws & Ethics Committee and 2016 Committee for the World Congress to be held in Panama City.
The ISHRS is based in Chicago, Illinois as a non-profit medical association advancing hair science and treatment for men and women suffering from hair loss. As an international cosmetic society, it is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and research. The ISHRS is a member of the American Medical Association’s House of delegates and is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education.
Dr. Williams is a Diplomat of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (FISHRS). He is in active private professional practice in Orange County, California treating hair loss in men and women with surgical and medical treatment modalities. He is the co-author of the world’s premier hair restoration textbook on Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), and has authored papers on hair restoration surgery. He is active in teaching hair restoration surgery to his peers.
